Millerstown Pick-A-Part’s “World Of Wheels” Contest

Official Rules & Regulations

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.  NO SUBMISSION TO A SALES PRESENTATION REQUIRED.  ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

ELIGIBILITY:  “World Of Wheels” (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Millerstown Pick-A-Part(“Sponsor”) and administered by WPXI, Inc. (“Administrator”).  To enter and win this promotion, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and you must legally reside in the State of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio or West Virginia.  Employees of Millerstown Pick-A-Part, WPXI, Inc., Cox Broadcasting, Inc., the National Broadcasting Company, and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, such employees, are not eligible to participate or to win.

ENTRY:  The Sweepstakes will begin at 3:30 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Friday, January 11, 2013 and end at 6:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Monday, January 21, 2013 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).   To enter:

Visit www.wpxi.com or www.pittsburgh.com and look for the “World Of Wheels” mention in the “Contest” section of the home page.  Double-click on the ad or mention to reach the entry site.  Enter your name, address (including city, state and zip), age and daytime telephone number (including area code) on the Sweepstakes online entry form. 

To be eligible for the prize drawing, entries must be received by 6:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Monday, January 21, 2013.  Administrator and/or Sponsor will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries, or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Administrator.  Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted shall be determined by Administrator in its sole discretion, and Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.  All entries become the property of Administrator and Sponsor and will not be returned.

Selection of the WinnerS:          Administrator will select four (4) winners on or about Tuesday, January 22, 2013.

PRIZES: Each winner will receive a Family four (4)-pack of tickets to the event at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, valued at $60.

Odds of Winning:  The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the entry deadline.

WINNER Notification and Acceptance:  Administrator will attempt to notify winner by phone (correct phone number, including area code, must be provided in all entry materials), during regular business hours, within forty-eight (48) hours following the Sweepstakes drawing, as detailed above.  A confirmation letter will follow phone notification.  Administrator’s inability to reach a winner at the phone number provided on his or her entry form, the return of a confirmation letter as undeliverable, and/or a winner’s failure to timely respond to prize notification may, at the sole discretion of Administrator and Sponsor, result in that winner’s disqualification and the forfeiture of his/her interest in the prize.  The winner may waive his/her right to receive the prize.  Prizes and individual components of prize packages are nonassignable and nontransferable.  If a winner is disqualified or declines his or her prize, Administrator may, but shall not be obligated to, select a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries.  Any prize(s) not claimed by the eligible winner by January 21, 2011 will remain the property of the Sponsor and will not be awarded.  No substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted, except that prize is subject to availability and the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value.  Winner is solely responsible for payment of any taxes on prizes.  Winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) business days of date of sender’s postmark or hand-delivery.  Failure to sign and return the affidavit and release within ten (10)) days, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may, at the sole discretion of Administrator, result in a winner’s disqualification and the forfeiture of his/her interest in the prize.  Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes each winner’s consent to the publication of his/her name, voice, likeness, image, biographical information, and hometown in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose (including broadcast, print, and other media) without limitation or further compensation.  To receive a copy of the Official Rules or the winners’ names (available after January 31, 2013), please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: “World Of Wheels Sweepstakes,” 4145 Evergreen Road; Pittsburgh, PA 15214.  Please allow three weeks for delivery.  Official Rules are also available on the Administrators’ websites (www.wpxi.com and www.pittsburgh.com). 

Participation:  By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sweepstakes judges. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Administrator, which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Administrator reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes.  Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Administrator reserves the right to award the prize based on the entries received before the termination date.

Construction:  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant and Sponsor and/or Administrator, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of Pennsylvania, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Pennsylvania.  The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.
