Our viewers named Pittsburgh's Best Pizza in 2010 and now we're bringing one of our most popular contests back for 2012! Click on the Nomination tab above to nominate your favorite Pittsburgh pizzeria. One nomination will be accepted per valid email address.
The nomination period will end at noon on Wednesday, February 8th and the Top 10 pizzerias which received the most nominations will be selected as our finalists and will be invited to participate in a taste test at the WPXI studios.
The taste test will take place during the week of Feb. 13th. Each finalist must deliver a sample of their pie for the test (One cheese pizza and a specialty pizza of their choice). If a pizzeria does not show up for the taste test they will be disqualified.
Voting will open to the public Friday, Feb. 17th at noon on WPXI.com and close Friday, Feb. 24th at noon
The winners will be revealed during the week of Feb. 27th. Award plaques will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners as determined by the public vote. Award certificates will be given to the remaining finalists.
