WPXI viewers named Pittsburgh's Best Burgers in 2011, and now we're bringing one of our most popular contests back for 2013! Click on the Nominations tab above to nominate your favorite burger restaurant in Pittsburgh.
The nomination period will end at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The Top 10 burger restaurants that receive the most nominations will be selected as our finalists and invited to participate in a taste test at the WPXI studios.
The taste test will take place during the week of March 11. Each finalist must deliver their choice of signature burgers to the taste test. If a restaurant does not show up for the taste test, they will be disqualified.
Voting will open to the public Monday, March 18 at 12 p.m. on WPXI.com and close Tuesday, March 26 at 12 p.m.
The winners are determined by a combination of the public vote and taste test scores. They will be revealed during the week of March 26. Award plaques will be given to the first, second and third place restaurants. Award certificates will be given to the remaining finalists.
