WPXI viewers named Pittsburgh's Best Wings in 2010, and now we're
bringing one of our most popular contests back for 2012! Click on
the Nominations tab above to nominate your favorite wing restaurant in
Pittsburgh.
The nomination period will end at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 25. The Top 10
wing restaurants that receive the most nominations will be selected as
our finalists and invited to participate in a taste test at the WPXI
studios.
The taste test will take place during the week of May 28. Each finalist
must deliver their mild wings along with one signature flavor of their
choice. If a restaurant does not show up for the taste test, they will
be disqualified.
Voting will open to the public Thursday, May 31 at 3 p.m. on WPXI.com and close Friday, June 8 at 3 p.m.
The winners are determined by a combination of the public vote and taste
test scores. They will be revealed during the week of June 11. Award
plaques will be given to the first, second and third place restaurants.
Award certificates will be given to the remaining finalists.
